Fairways, Feasts, and Fair Play: The GLE Quarterly Social

What's covered in this guide

At Green Light Electrical, we believe that a team that plays together, stays together. On Friday, April 10th, the tools were put away a little earlier than usual as the entire crew headed out for our highly anticipated quarterly social outing.

The destination? The fantastic Iford Golf Club and the prehistoric-themed Mighty Claws Crazy Golf course. It was an afternoon designed to swap technical talk for some light-hearted competition and team bonding.

A Slice of Success

We kicked off the festivities the best way we know how—with food! The team gathered for a delicious pizza buffet and a round of drinks. It provided the perfect opportunity for everyone to catch up, relax, and fuel up before heading out to the “battlefield” of the golf course.

18 Holes of “Mighty” Competition

With appetites satisfied, it was time to tackle the 18 holes of Mighty Claws. From navigating tricky slopes to avoiding dinosaur-themed obstacles, the course provided plenty of challenges. The air was filled with laughter, occasional groans at missed putts, and plenty of friendly banter between departments.

While the atmosphere was relaxed, the competitive spirit of the Green Light team was definitely on display. Everyone gave it their best shot, showing that our precision isn’t just limited to electrical installations!

And the Winner Is…

A massive shoutout to our Office Manager, Helen! She outplayed the entire field, navigating the course with expert precision to claim the overall victory. Congratulations, Helen—the trophy is well-deserved!
